Nintendo DS Active Health Advert shows how helpful the DS Game can be in Watching your Fitness
The advertisement commercial being reviewed is about the latest game based on health and fitness being released for the Nintendo DS. The DS advert starts off on a very intriguing note as squares start flying on the screen and suddenly a blonde woman is shown sitting on a couch and talking as if she is being interviewed. The next camera shot shows the woman dressed up in formals and picking up her handbag to go to work. She continues talking and is shown walking down a neighbourhood alley where a couple is shown jogging. The camera shifts focus and zooms towards her midriff. The message that is meant to be conveyed is the extra fat that gets deposited in that region.
Two hands are shown cutting a vegetable on a flap and suddenly, the next camera shot is that of a pencil being pushed on certain instructions mentioned on the panel of a the Nintendo DS. She is clearly playing the Active Health with Carol Vorderman (DS) game and the camera shows the women using the game’s calorimeter to measure all the steps she took the previous day. A fluctuating graphical representation is also clearly shown on the device. The camera zooms out and a pair of hands are shown holding onto the device. The lady who talks throughout the commercial is shown signing off with a laugh and relief. The device flashes on screen and is then shown going away and finally lying down adjacent to the box in which it is sold packed. The logo Nintendo DS flashes on screen and with that the commercial comes to an end.
