How to Master Marketing: Online and Offline Marketing Analysis

This is an advertisement for the very popular Wii- EA Sports Active which is a fitness video game. The Nintendo advertisement starts with the symbol of Wii. Then a girl appears and you can see her exercising and working out. The girl is stretching her legs and is jogging. The background is totally black and you cannot see anything in it. Then another girl is shown stretching her hands and working out as well. She is holding the Nintendo Wii’s remote controls in her hands.

In the very next shot another girl is exercising with the remote in her hands. Then a girl is jumping while exercising. Then you can see a girl who is practising boxing while holding those controls. Suddenly the black background transforms into a living room and the girl is still boxing while looking into the television. In the television you can see a virtual girl punching away at a punching bag. Then there is a long shot of the girl as she tires out and stops playing. Then there is a close up of the whole EA Sports Active Personal Trainer (Wii) kit. Then the sign of EA sports Active appears on the screen and the advertisement finishes with it. In the entire advertisement the girls are wearing sporty clothes but you cannot actually make out as to what they are up to but the transformation of the room is one of the most eye catching things about the advertisement. Within the advertisement it is clearly written that the game is built for all ages above 3 years.
