Lacoste – Inspiration Advert exudes Feminine Confidence
The Lacoste brand is very well recognised and is known in the world for its interesting range of perfumes and fragrances, and, of course, clothes. I was watching their video advertisement for ‘Inspiration’ and found it to be quite like what the brand is known for.
The advert for Lacoste Inspiration features the popular Danish model Maria Gregersen walking down a street smiling and enjoying herself completely. Her gait is so full of life that it rubs off on to you. Right at that moment it starts to rain and she takes cover.
That’s when she dreams of Lacoste Inspiration and moves out into rain. She starts to ravel in the rain and forgets the world around her. She is dancing, she feels naughty and she of course is too immersed in the moment that she is least worried about anything else. And just then the rain stops and she feels absolutely at ease. The advert concludes with the Lacoste Inspiration Eau de Parfum bottle covering the whole screen and the foreground flashing with ‘Inspiration.’ The advert may be 19 second long only but the message is loud and clear. The most interesting thing about the advert is the combination of sunshine and rain, the background colour, and the influence of Lacoste Inspiration on the model and the smooth way in which this all has been intermingled and put across.
And as the background score goes, she’s got style, she’s got grace, she’s a winner; the advert has got all that it needs to catch everyone’s attention.
