L’Oreal Recital Preference Fights Fading Hair Colour with a Patented System in this Ad with Charlize Theron

This advertisement includes the very famous actress Charlize Theron. In the beginning of the advertisement there is a close up of the actress. In the next shot there is a close up of the product. A lot of colours and special effects are used in the L’Oreal advertisement in order to describe the product. Then through graphics the effect of the product is shown. The screen is divided into 2 vertical halves and the anti-fade system is defined. The graphics are terrific and you can clearly notice the difference.

In the next shot it is shown that this hair colour retains the shine of the hair whereas other hair colours start getting dull. Finally the actress is shown who is flaunting her coloured shiny hair. Then you can see the whole array of colours which the company produces. It is clearly written at the bottom of the screen that these L’Oreal Recital Preference colours provide a perfect grey coverage. Then it is written that 28 different colours are available. Finally there is a medium shot of the actress who is shown talking. The advertisement finishes with an L’Oreal sign on the top of the screen. The actress is wearing a simple black coloured top which enhances the colour of her hair.

Special effects are very intelligently used in the advertisement and the comparison between the product and various other colours is a pretty good concept. Not many colours are used in the advertisement by L’Oreal. It is just a 19 second advertisement which perfectly defines the product.
