Adidas - Action 3: Football Superstar Zinedine Zidane markets the Deodorant
The following advertisement commercial shows football legend Zinedine Zidane dribbling a football to and fro. The background is completely dark and there are spots on the ground from which light starts emerging when he dribbles past them. Zidane kicks the ball hard towards the net and when the ball establishes contact with the net, the net starts radiating white light. Zidane then wipes off the sweat from his forehead with the help of the wrist band he wears and then the camera closes up of the wrist band to reveal that the brand behind it is none other than Adidas. Immediately after that, a black coloured Adidas body spray is shown on the camera and a man takes it and starts applying it on his underarm. His face is not shown when he applies the spray.
It is shown that the spray contains the active absorbent complex technology which makes sure that a person smells well throughout. Zidane is shown buttoning up a white coloured shirt and passing a slight grin. He then picks up hid Adidas wristband and throws it towards the camera. The next flash shows the Adidas deodorant and the wristband kept together and promotional lines being shown next to them. ‘Advanced Sweat Control’, ‘Developed with Athletes’ are the lines. The final flash shows four such Adidas body sprays line up in front of the screen with the wrist band lying near the first spray from the right. The total time consumed by the ADIDAS commercial is 19 seconds and the products shown are being promoted.
