Considering the fact that almost every individual around us is pressed for time, various appliance manufacturers are hitting the problem right at the nail in order to escalate the sale of their products. There is nothing wrong with it either considering the fact that manufacturers are more interested in producing appliances which are aimed at making one’s life simpler. The advertisement particularly features a woman because their product i.e. a washing machine is generally used by women. The scene progresses to feature the product i.e. the Electrolux Time Manager Washing Machine. The same woman is shown to be setting the desired time for washing herself on the Electrolux Time Manager Washing Machine. Unlike a normal model, such as the Electrolux EWG12450 where the washing machine tells the user how long it will take, here the user has control. The mantra of the advertisement basically is to allow the individual choose the desired time for which the clothes should be washed. The decision to choose the washing time should rest with the individual and not the washing machine.

The advertisement ends with the logo of Electrolux appearing on the screen along with their brand slogan “Thinking of you” to leave a more lasting impact on the viewers. The manufacturers succeed in conveying their message to the viewers within a short span of ten seconds. The advertisement does not overtly glorify either the company or the product. However, it is sensible enough to introduce, give details and present the product without taking too much of the viewer’s time.
