Sony Bravia LCD TV Advert showcases the Smoothest Picture Ever
The Japanese manufacturer Sony has always been well known for producing gadgets which boast of best quality and top notch performance. However, their habit of staying at top and delivering the best is resonated in their product endorsements as well.
The recently launched advertisement for Sony Bravia 200Hz Motion Flow is the latest in offering to prove the expertise with which Sony handles their brand and product promotion. Most current Bravia TVs, like the Sony KDL-46W5500 only have a 100Hz picture rate for example, so this latest Bravia model is practically twice as smooth as the rest. The Sony advertisement then opens up on an empty street followed with a scene where a large, circular shaped dome surfaces on the screen. On the exterior of the screen, there are a number of simulated images being displayed. The focus widens a bit to reveal the city square where the dome seems to be placed.
A large group of awe struck onlookers seem to be staring at the images being screened at the dome. The images show a soccer player training with his ball in various modes. The motive of the advertisement is to highlight the crystal clear images which Sony Bravia displays.
The advertisement goes on to announce through a written message being flashed on screen the 3 year warranty being offered by Sony in case the buyer purchases a television set of 26” and above.
This Sony advertisement which is barely 29 seconds long manages to target its potential consumers, informs about the advertised product and evokes their interest even without displaying the advertised product or trying to blatantly highlight its positive aspects. It is only at the end of the ad that the endorsed product is revealed as a closing shot.
