Your dear life depends on Macleans - Be Ready!
You never know when it is going to happen! Yeah, buddy you never know when cupidity strikes, or when the love bug bites you, blah, blah, blah…Getting confused? The first sentence, which also happens to be among the very few lines that are uttered during the entire audio visual ad aired to promote a tooth whitening product by the name Macleans, is the punch line that it adopts to categorically state that life is full of surprises. The problem however is not with the surprises that we encounter in our lives, but that they come on the most inopportune of times catching you unawares.
Love is such an important aspect of our lives that bereft of it life will surely become a great burden; it is therefore not for nothing that you see lots of people hankering for love, or more precisely for the divine experience that comes with love. And you would surely dissent the thought of your hard earned love going haywire just because you have bad teeth. I am using the term “just” because in today’s time an era getting them cleaned is hardly a difficult task, and especially when you have something like Macleans that whitens you teeth like anything; thereby giving you the confidence and licence to meet any situation in life with a genuine smile.
The ad as mentioned is less on words and more of action. What apparently appears to be a bright spot of the ad are the background music and its terrific harmony with the drama, not exactly in the literal sense though, that unfolds on the screen. A sensuous looking lady, undeniably oozing with sex appeal, appears with a broad smile and is shown walking a busy commercial area. It is just then that she confronts the man of her life, and they exchange notes with each other, through gestures and postures. They instantly realize they are made for each other and get together for a close embrace. They look really awesome as a pair……the morale? It is quite clear, while they were embracing each other their bodies are wrapped together, and mouth too close for comfort, but the the lady’s day is saved; for she has used the Macleans whitener, turning her teeth pearl white, and far more sparkling than if she had used a competitor like the Crest Whitestrips Premium whitener. The message is obviously if you wish to have teeth as immaculate as hers, and succeed in your love life as well, then Macleans tooth paste is the only way to go.
